The location of Chipping Sodbury is ideal for a weekend break. Only 100 minutes from London, visitors can enjoy a few days of superb sightseeing, shopping and country walks in this historic region of stone and thatch.

The Roman town of Cirencester is 45 minutes away with its Roman Amphitheare and the nearby Roman Chedworth Villa. Even closer is Bath, famous for its stunning Georgian architecture and Roman Baths. Westonbirt Arboretum is 30 minutes away and their collection of over 18,000 trees and shrubs is one of the most comprehensive in the world. Open 365 days a year, it is set in 600 acres of woodlands and has many themed events and open air concerts. Bristol is the capital of the South West and home to the great engineering feats of Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

For horse lovers there is the Beaufort Hunt, the Beaufort Polo Club, the Cirencester Polo Club, and the Badminton Horse Trials held in May each year are just a few miles away.
